Twitter - Killing Football Viewing or Enhancing...
Something struck me the other night as I tweeted my way through a football game between somebodyorother and whatstheirname. I wrestled to keep on top of posting my random feelings about the match and the responses to them. A chilling thought dawned on me at that moment.
Was I tweeting during the match or was I watching the match during my tweeting?
It’s a chicken and egg Twitter dilemma. I...

Juve's Diego: Forgive Him or Forget Him?
From Football Italia
There are only a handful of crimes which are unforgivable. Their number may vary according to your morals, but they are likely to be few in total. Firenze Sogna: Dreaming of GiuRo
It’s only newspaper talk, of course, and to be taken with a bigger pinch of salt than the cooking water for your spaghetti. But in the quiet weeks before domestic league football returns it helps to fuel supporters’ dreams. Could Giuseppe Rossi really end up at Fiorentina?
The Italo-American was one of the summer’s big talking points when he missed the cut in Marcello...

The Fabulous Mr Sneijder
From Football Italia
It is the nature of football writers to curse players or teams on the eve of some potentially momentous achievement. No sooner has an article been published than events conspire to destroy their dream. But, regardless of what happens in the next few days, Wesley Sneijder’s season deserves some comment. First he helped Inter to a domestic double, although that is not such an...
